Scope

This standard specifies the terms, product classification, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage for V-cone flow measurement throttle devices (hereinafter referred to as V-cones) installed in fluid-filled circular section pipes to measure fluid flow.
This standard applies to V-cones used for measuring single-phase flows.
This standard does not apply to V-cones used for measuring pulsating flows.
