Pages: 30 pages

Scope

This part of GB/T 2624 defines terms and symbols, and establishes the general principles and calculation methods for measuring the flow rate of full-pipe fluids using differential pressure devices (orifices, nozzles, and Venturi tubes) installed in circular section pipes. It also specifies the general requirements for measuring, installing, and determining the uncertainty of flow measurement. This part also determines the pipe sizes and Reynolds number ranges for which these differential pressure devices are suitable. GB/T 2624 (all parts) is only applicable to single-phase flows that maintain subsonic velocities throughout the entire measurement section. It is not suitable for the measurement of pulsating flows.
