Scope

This part of GB/T 2828 specifies the general sampling procedures for acceptance inspection by counting. The purpose of these procedures is to provide a way to reduce the amount of inspection for high-quality products submitted by suppliers with a satisfactory quality assurance system and effective quality control. The reduction of inspection quantity is achieved by randomly determining whether the submitted batches can be accepted without inspection at a specified probability. These procedures extend the principle of random sampling of sample units used in GB/T 2828.1 to the random sampling of batches.
