Scope

This guidance technical document specifies the general requirements and methods for reliability verification tests of small-capacity AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors), including the reliability indicators of contactors, test methods, test plans, and test procedures, etc. This guidance technical document is applicable to the reliability verification tests of contactors operating at 50 Hz or 60 Hz AC, with a rated working current of 50 A or less in the main circuit, and a rated control power supply voltage ranging from 24 V to 400 V. The reliability verification tests of contactors with a rated working current of more than 50 A in the main circuit can also be conducted in accordance with this guidance technical document. This guidance technical document can be used as a guidance document for contactor manufacturing enterprises to conduct product reliability tests.
