Scope

This part of GB/T 30287 specifies the information exchange protocol and frame format between the shipboard terminal and the information service center of the ship information service system (hereinafter referred to as the system).
This part is applicable to information systems that use satellite navigation and positioning technology, adopt public mobile communication networks or dedicated mobile communication networks, and have an information service center. It can be used as a basis for system design and testing. Information systems that use non-satellite positioning technology and have a ship information service center can also refer to and implement it.
