Scope

This procedure applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of electric ventilated hygrometers (hereinafter referred to as hygrometers).
Electric ventilated hygrometers include two types: digital display ventilated hygrometers and ordinary electric ventilated hygrometers without digital displays; hygrometers also come in two types: glass mercury thermometers and platinum resistance thermometers.
