Scope

This document specifies the classification, code designation, and trademark representation methods of hot-rolled acid-free automotive beam steel plates and steel strips, as well as the order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to the manufacture of hot-rolled acid-free steel strips with a thickness of not more than 12.0mm for automotive beams, as well as the steel plates cut transversely from these strips and the longitudinally cut steel strips.
