Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for medical diagnostic X-ray machines (hereinafter referred to as X-ray machines). This standard applies to X-ray machines powered by AC power with a nominal X-ray tube voltage of 10 kV to 150 kV. This standard does not apply to X-ray computed tomography equipment.
