Scope

This document establishes the physical recycling process for decommissioned wind turbine blades (hereinafter referred to as "blades"), specifies the operational instructions and related technical requirements for blade disassembly, segmentation and classification, direct recycling and physical recycling, transportation, storage and management, and provides guidance for the direct recycling and physical recycling of blades. This document applies to the physical recycling of decommissioned wind turbine blades with epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethane resin, etc. as the matrix and glass fiber and/or carbon fiber as the reinforcing materials. Other types of wind turbine blades can be implemented with reference to this document.
