Scope
This standard is applicable to the determination of antimony content in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) flake products for film, bottle, fiber, and engineering plastics. The determination range of inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry is (2–300) mg/kg, and the determination range of graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry is (1–300) mg/kg. PET fiber products can also be measured in accordance with this standard.
