Scope

This document describes two test methods for the sealing performance of packaging items - the underwater bubble method and the vacuum attenuation method. It provides the test principles, samples, instruments, sample conditioning and test conditions, test steps, test results, and test reports for the two test methods.
This document is applicable to non-vacuum packaging items, and also to the sealing performance testing of non-vacuum sealed packaging items that do not contain any contents.
