GB/T 11344-2008 Non-destructive testing—Practice for measuring thickness by ultrasonic pulse-echo contact method

Scope

This standard specifies the methodological guidelines for measuring the thickness of materials using the contact pulse echo method under conditions where the temperature does not exceed 93.3°C.
This standard is applicable to the measurement of the thickness of any material in which ultrasonic waves can propagate at a constant speed internally and can obtain and distinguish reflections from the back side.
Values expressed in either imperial units or the International System of Units (SI) can be used independently as nominal values.
