This document specifies the technical requirements, testing conditions, and records for the lithium-ion power battery systems (hereinafter referred to as "power battery systems") used in electric vehicles. This document is applicable to the testing of power battery systems without disassembling the vehicle or changing the control strategy. Other types of battery systems should follow the same procedures for testing.
