本文件规定了往复式内燃机排放测量结果报告的数据格式，适用于移动、运输和固定用往复式内燃机，但不包括主要为道路运输设计的车用发动机。数据格式包含了被测发动机的基本信息。只要提供被测发动机、试验单元和试验数据信息，可使用包括电子生成的等效的数据表格。本文件适用于试验室和现场（如适用）的排放测量。对应用于有其他附加要求（如职业卫生和安全条例、发电厂防尘规定等）机械上的发动机，补充附加的试验条件和专门的评定方法。
