本文件规定了测定小型可移动噪声源声功率级的相对简单的工程法。本文件规定的方法适用于在规定频率范围内所有类型噪声的测量，由孤立猝发声能构成的脉冲噪声除外，其由ISO 3744和ISO 3745另行规定。
注：不同类型噪声的分类见ISO 12001。
