Scope

This document aims to define the categories of electromagnetic environments, in order to coordinate, as far as possible, the EMC principles and requirements of all low-voltage switchgear, control equipment, and complete sets of equipment with built-in electronic circuits.
This document also covers the EMC requirements related to radio communication functions.
Typical application environments for such equipment include infrastructure, commercial and industrial building power distribution, and mechanical control systems that include motor drive systems.
The purpose of proposing EMC requirements is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the equipment, as well as to ensure the communication efficiency of radio communication equipment in its intended use environment.
