GB/T 7251.1-2013 Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies—Part 1:General rules
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB 7251 specifies the definitions, usage conditions, structural requirements, technical characteristics, and verification requirements for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies (hereinafter referred to as assemblies) (see 3.1.1).
This part cannot be used alone to specify a type of assembly or to determine consistency. Assemblies shall comply with the relevant parts of the GB 7251 series; starting from Part 2.
This part is only applicable to low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies that meet the requirements of the following relevant assembly standards:
——Assemblies with a rated voltage of not more than 1,000 V AC and 1,500 V DC;
——Fixed or mobile assemblies with or without enclosures;
——Assemblies used in conjunction with equipment for power generation, transmission, distribution, and energy conversion, as well as equipment for controlling energy consumption;
——Assemblies designed for special use conditions, such as those used on ships and locomotives, as long as they meet other relevant specific requirements;
[HT5”H][STFZ][WTHZ] Note 1: [WTBZ][STBZ][HTSS] GB/T 7061 contains supplementary requirements for marine switchgear assemblies. [HT]
——Assemblies designed for the electrical equipment of machines, assuming they meet other relevant specific requirements.
[HT5”H][STFZ][WTHZ] Note 2: [WTBZ][STBZ][HTSS] The GB 5226 series of standards contains supplementary requirements for assemblies that constitute components of machines. [HT]
This part applies to assemblies that are designed, manufactured, and verified once, or to fully standardized batch-produced assemblies.
The manufacturer of the assembly may not be the original manufacturer (see 3.10.1).
This part does not apply to individual devices and fully assembled components that comply with their respective relevant product standards, such as motor starters, circuit breakers, electronic devices, etc.
