Basic Information
Scope
This standard stipulates the requirements for the control of air pollutant emissions from boilers, as well as monitoring, implementation and supervision of the standard.
This standard applies to the management of air pollutant emissions from boilers within the boundaries of Shanghai City, as well as the environmental impact assessment of new, modified, and expanded projects, the design of environmental protection facilities, the acceptance of environmental protection upon completion, the issuance of pollution discharge permits, and the management of air pollutant emissions after the boilers go into operation.
This standard applies to steam boilers, hot water boilers, and organic heat carrier boilers with a single output of less than 65 t/h. Boilers using alcohol ether fuels (such as methanol, ethanol, and dimethyl ether) shall refer to the provisions for gaseous fuel boilers in this standard.
This standard does not apply to boilers that use domestic waste, hazardous waste, or other non-hazardous waste as fuels.
This standard applies to the legally permitted emission of pollutants. The siting of new pollution sources and the management of existing pollution sources within special protection areas shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of laws, regulations, and rules such as the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Shanghai Municipal Environmental Protection Regulations", and the "Shanghai Municipal Air Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations".
