Scope
This standard specifies the types and parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of air-jet looms for nonwoven fabrics.
This standard applies to air-jet looms that use the combined action of centrifugal force and airflow generated by high-speed rotation of Sichin or opening rollers to disperse short fibers that have been pretreated into a single-fiber state and coalesce on a moving net curtain or dust cage, thereby forming a non-oriented fiber web.
This standard does not apply to pulp air-jet looms using dry papermaking technology.
