Scope
This standard specifies the limit requirements for formaldehyde emission from plywood and its products used in interior decoration, as well as the test methods, determination rules, and inspection reports. This standard applies to the formaldehyde emission limits of various types of plywood and its products used in interiors, including fiberboard, particleboard, plywood, fine carpentry board, reconstituted decorative materials, veneer lumber, integrated timber, finished plywood, wooden flooring, wooden wall panels, wooden doors and windows, etc. 1) Enterprises may use gas analysis, dryer method, or perforated extraction method (see Appendix A) for production control, and establish the correlation between these methods and the 1 m3 climate box method to meet the requirements of this standard.
