Scope

In order to promote the use of steel slag to construct road base layers (including sub-base layers, hereinafter the same), ensure the construction quality of steel slag aggregate mixture road base layers, and unify construction and acceptance standards, these regulations are formulated. These regulations are applicable to the construction and acceptance of steel slag aggregate mixture base layers of roads. The steel slag aggregates referred to in these regulations do not include stainless steel slag. The industrial waste residues or natural materials used shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current national environmental protection regulations to avoid causing environmental pollution. In addition to complying with these regulations, the construction and acceptance of steel slag aggregate mixture road base layers shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
