Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements and test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage, and safety of biodiesel blended fuel (B5) mixed from biodiesel and petroleum diesel.
This standard applies to B5 ordinary diesel and B5 automotive diesel used in compression-ignition engines, in which biodiesel is the blending component.
