Scope

This standard specifies the measurement conditions, instruments, measurement methods, and calculation of measurement results for the bench test of exhaust gas emissions from marine incinerators (referred to as incinerators).
This standard applies to the bench measurement of pollutants (CO, NOx, SO2, and soot) in the exhaust gas of incinerators with a thermal capacity of less than 1,500 kW, the blackness of the exhaust gas, and the concentration of oxygen (O2) in the combustion chamber. The measurements can also be used as a reference for on-board measurements.
