Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements and test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of general-purpose lithium-based greases for automobiles.
This standard applies to greases made from lithium soap thickened mineral base oil and added with antioxidant and anti-rust additives.
Products that meet this standard are suitable for lubricating friction parts such as automotive wheel hub bearings, chassis, and water pumps in the operating temperature range of -30℃ to 120℃.
