Scope
This standard specifies the classification and naming, technical requirements, and test methods for LED modules used in bulb lamps. This standard applies to LED modules for bulb lamps that operate under constant voltage or constant current, without an integrated control device; and LED modules for self-ballasted bulb lamps that use AC power of 250V or less at 50Hz or 60Hz. Note: The term "ballast" in this standard generally refers to transforming, limiting, or stabilizing current, which is different from the meaning of "ballast" required for the normal operation of gas discharge light sources.
