Scope

This part of GB/T 16264 specifies the behavior of DSA involved in distributed directory applications. For wide-area DIB spanning multiple DSAs, behavior has been designed to ensure consistent service provision. Although the directory can be built on top of some common database systems, it does not belong to such a common database system itself. The directory is built on the assumption that query operations are much more frequent than update operations.
