Scope

GB/T 17645 specifies the expression of parts library information and the necessary mechanisms and definitions to enable the exchange, use, and updating of parts library data. This exchange can be carried out between different computer systems and environments related to the entire life cycle of products using library parts, including product design, manufacturing, use, maintenance, and scrapping. The standard specifies the general structure of the parts library system, rather than defining a complete, detailed, and implementable parts library system. This section provides an overview of GB/T 17645 and its structure.
