GB/T 38174-2019 Wind energy generation systems—Availability for wind power stations
Basic Information
Scope
This standard provides a calculation framework for the performance indicators of time availability and service output availability for wind power farms, describes the data categories and methods, and provides examples of applying these data to calculate availability indicators.
This standard applies the terms and definitions from the GB/Z 35482-2017 and GB/Z 35483-2017 models to wind power farms.
The basic method of this standard is to assume that the entire wind power farm can be modeled as a single wind turbine unit to represent the entire wind power farm. The wind power farm is a collection of all wind turbine units, functional services, and supporting facilities at the grid connection point.
The purpose of this standard is not to specify the calculation methods for time availability and service output availability, nor to provide a basis for power curve performance measurement; for power curve measurement, see IEC 61400-12. However, its appendices should provide detailed examples and guidelines for calculating availability indicators.
