Scope

This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, packaging marks, and quality certificates of low-temperature coarse jointing paste for blast furnaces. This standard applies to low-temperature coarse jointing paste made from high-temperature electric calcined anthracite, artificial graphite, natural graphite, and metallurgical coke as the main raw materials, with a binder made from coal tar, coal tar pitch, and anthracene oil mixed with additives, and produced by a cold-stamping process. It is used for the construction of blast furnace linings, filling the gaps between coke blocks and cooling equipment, and between coke blocks themselves.
