Scope

This standard specifies the corrosion environment control of offshore wind turbines and the common anti-corrosion methods and related technical requirements for major structural components and parts (equipment). This standard applies to the anti-corrosion design, construction, acceptance, and operation and maintenance of horizontal-axis offshore wind turbines (hereinafter referred to as "turbines") and their components. This standard does not apply to the structures and foundations below the tower of offshore wind turbines.
