Scope

The chapter of GB/T 14536.1-2022 applies to all aspects except the following:

This document applies to electric automatic temperature-sensitive controllers used in, on, or in conjunction with equipment, which are used in heating, air conditioning, and similar applications. The electrical equipment controlled by these controllers may use electricity, gas, oil, solid fuels, solar energy, or a combination of these energy sources.
Note: The term "equipment" used in this document includes "appliances" and "control systems".
This document applies to electric automatic temperature-sensitive controllers that form part of building automation control systems within the scope of ISO 16484.
This document also applies to electric automatic temperature-sensitive controllers used in equipment in public places, such as those used in stores, offices, hospitals, farms, and commercial and industrial applications.
This document does not apply to electric automatic temperature-sensitive controllers specifically designed for industrial use, unless explicitly mentioned in the relevant equipment standards.
