GB/T 33647-2017 Determination of silicon content in motor gasoline—Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES)
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test method for determining the silicon content in automotive gasoline using an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICPOES). This standard is applicable to the determination of silicon content in automotive gasoline with a silicon content of 1.0 mg/kg to 50.0 mg/kg (with an oxygenated compound volume fraction not exceeding 15%), such as automotive gasoline containing methyl tert-butyl ether, automotive methanol gasoline (M15), and automotive ethanol gasoline (E10). For automotive gasoline samples with a silicon content higher than 50.0 mg/kg, they can be diluted with a higher proportion of isooctane and then determined according to the method in this standard, but its precision has not been statistically analyzed yet. When using this standard for detection, certain elements in automotive gasoline, such as sulfur, lead, iron, manganese, phosphorus, and chlorine, will not interfere with the determination of silicon content.
