Scope

This document stipulates the quality management requirements for automatic monitoring of fixed pollution sources, the quality control requirements for automatic monitoring of wastewater and waste gas, and their implementation and supervision. This document applies to the automatic monitoring of the following monitoring factors in wastewater from fixed pollution sources within the administrative area of Nantong City: chemical oxygen demand (CODCr), total organic carbon (TOC), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), total phosphorus (TP), total nitrogen (TN), pH, water temperature, flow rate; and in waste gas: particulate matter, sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOX), carbon monoxide (CO), non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC), oxygen content (O2), flow rate, temperature, and humidity. For other monitoring factors whose automatic monitoring standards have not been officially promulgated and implemented, this document may be used as a reference for implementation.
