Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the anti-emulsifying ability of lubricating oil products.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the ability of high- and medium-viscosity lubricating oils to separate oil and water from each other. Method A is suitable for samples that do not contain extreme pressure additives, and Method B is suitable for samples that contain extreme pressure additives.
