Scope

This standard specifies the test equipment, samples, test procedures, and test reports for the bonding performance test of friction materials on sintered metal friction plates and steel core plates. This standard applies to friction plates manufactured by powder metallurgy sintering. The bonding performance between the friction material layer and the steel core plate is tested by the bending test method. Other similar materials can also be referenced for implementation.
