Scope

This part of GB/T 26297 specifies the sampling and preparation methods for calcined petroleum coke.
This part is applicable to the sampling and preparation of coke obtained from asphalt or petroleum, which is mainly used for aluminum electrolysis electrodes.
This part includes sampling regulations for some similar products, which mainly involve physical performance testing and particle size analysis. The theory and practice of sampling are described in detail in ISO 1988 and ISO 2309.
Considering the processing process, it is necessary to require that the products have the same chemical composition. Therefore, two samples must be taken: the first sample is taken during loading to verify the quality of the products provided. The second sample is taken by the user to check whether there is any pollution during transportation.
