Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for double-sided wearable garments, including testing methods, inspection and judgment rules, product usage instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage. This standard applies to the quality assessment of double-sided wearable garments made primarily from textile fabrics, including garments with both sides made from woven fabrics, garments with both sides made from knitted fabrics, and garments with one side made from woven fabrics and the other side made from knitted fabrics, such as double-sided jackets, double-sided coats, double-sided cotton jackets, and double-sided down jackets. This standard does not apply to infant and toddler garments for children aged 36 months and below.
