Scope
This standard specifies the product models, specifications, materials, electrical and mechanical performance, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, and marking of aluminum alloy wires used in cable conductors.
This standard applies to the manufacture of aluminum alloy wires for aluminum alloy conductors of cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables with a rated voltage of 0.6 kV to 1 kV.
