This part of GB/Z 16682 defines the concept of profiles and the method of documenting them in international standardized profiles. It can guide national standard drafters in drafting Chinese standards according to the nature and content of the documents, or guide relevant organizations in drafting proposals for international standardized profiles.
This part outlines the concept of profiles, a comprehensive classification method (or classification scheme), and the format and content of ISPs. Appendix A provides details on the format and content of ISPs with unified requirements.
GB/Z 16682.2—2010 provides rules and classification schemes for various profiles that can be submitted or have already been submitted as international standardized profiles.
