Scope

This standard specifies the principles, classification and grading, handling procedures, analysis and forecasting of red tide development trends, red tide elimination techniques, and requirements for personnel and equipment involved in red tide disaster management.
This standard applies to the management of red tide disasters in the sea areas under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China. The management of large-scale algal disasters can also be implemented with reference to this standard.
