The fastener terminology provided in this part of GB/T 3099 can guide translation work. Unless otherwise specified in the product standards, it is recommended to use the terms in English, French, Russian, Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish provided in this part (international standard).
The listed fastener terms do not all have corresponding ISO standards at present. They are mainly selected from current national standards, and also include certain obsolete product types (those with exhausted inventories), so that these terms can also be standardized at the same time.
