Scope

This standard applies to microorganisms represented by fungi. The acidic (or neutral) cellulase preparations obtained from crude enzyme solutions or refined and purified products after deep liquid fermentation or solid-state cultivation are mainly used in the energy field for the evaluation of the enzymatic activity of cellulase in the production of biofuel ethanol from lignocellulose as a raw material.
