Scope

This standard defines an application of the following HDLC standards: GB/T 15124 and GB/T 14399-2008. When it is difficult to rephrase the requirements of one of the other standards for interpretation, the original requirements of GB/T 15124 and GB/T 14399-2008 shall prevail. It also defines the structure, elements, and procedures of DTE operations using the X.25 LAPB protocol as specified in ITU-T Recommendation X.25. This protocol is applicable to data exchange between DTEs and DCEs, or between two DTEs. The defined protocol is intended for use in synchronous full-duplex links for synchronous transmission or start/stop transmission.
