Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, warranty period, marking, and packaging for general-purpose explosion-proof ventilators (hereinafter referred to as ventilators).
This standard applies to general-purpose ventilators used for transporting flammable and explosive gases. The maximum temperature of the transported medium shall not exceed 80℃, and the dust content and other solid impurities shall not exceed 100 mg/m3, with a diameter not exceeding 1 mm.
This standard does not apply to explosion-proof ventilators for special purposes, such as marine explosion-proof ventilators and coal mine explosion-proof ventilators, etc.
