Scope

This part of GB/T 19638 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for fixed valve-regulated lead-acid batteries.
This part is applicable to all fixed valve-regulated lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) and battery packs used in communication, equipment switching, power generation, emergency power supply, uninterruptible power supply, or similar applications, which are installed in a stationary location and combined with fixed equipment. The sulfuric acid electrolyte in the batteries is non-flowing, or adsorbed in the microporous structure between the electrodes, or in colloidal form.
This part is not applicable to starter batteries, energy storage batteries, and general-purpose lead-acid batteries and battery packs, etc.
