Terminology and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 "Lianyuan Lianhong" Citrus "Lianyuan Lianhong" citrus refers to early- and mid-maturity fresh fruit varieties such as Jinqiu Sugar Orange, Wenzhou Mandarin, and Navel Orange, as well as processing varieties like Daidai Sour Orange, Ou Citrus, and Jin Citrus, produced within a specific ecological environment of Lianyuan City, located between 111°-113°E and 27°-28°N. 4. Site Selection 4.1 Environmental Conditions Air quality should meet the requirements of GB 3095. Irrigation requirements call for convenient water sources, with each orchard ensuring a minimum of 50 m3 of available water and meeting the quality standards of GB 5084. The average annual temperature should be 16.5°C–17.5°C, with an absolute minimum temperature of ≥-5°C and a January average temperature of ≥5°C. The annual accumulated temperature above 10°C should exceed 5,000°C, with annual sunshine duration exceeding 1,200 hours and annual rainfall ≥800 mm. The site should be located in hilly, gently sloping or flat areas with an altitude below 400 m and a slope of ≤25°, avoiding windy or low-lying areas and sources of pollution. For flat areas, sites with groundwater levels exceeding 1 m and good drainage are preferred. Basic farmland should not be used for orchard construction. 4.2 Soil The soil should have an organic matter content ≥3%, preferably sandy loam or loam. The soil layer should be deep and have a pH of 5.5–6.5. If these conditions are not met, soil improvement measures should be implemented. The soil environmental quality should meet the requirements of GB 15618. 4.3 Traffic Planning Citrus orchards should be conveniently accessible and connected to main highways. 5. Park Planning 5.1 Overall Layout The orchard should be planned based on principles that enhance mechanical operation efficiency and include planting zones, road systems, irrigation
