Scope

This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, reagents and materials, samples, test procedures, and test results and calculations for determining the ash content, fixed carbon content, thermal weight loss, sulfur content, chlorine content, and fluorine content of flexible graphite sheets.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the ash content, fixed carbon content, thermal weight loss, sulfur content, chlorine content, and fluorine content of flexible graphite sheets. The measurement range for sulfur content is 50 micrograms/gram to 10,000 micrograms/gram, the measurement range for chlorine content is 1 microgram/gram to 100 micrograms/gram, and the measurement range for fluorine content is 1 microgram/gram to 1,000 micrograms/gram.
