Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, and safety of industrial barium chloride.
This standard applies to industrial barium chloride. This product is mainly used in metal heat treatment, barium salt manufacturing, and electronics, instrumentation, metallurgy, and other industries. It can also be used as an insecticide and dehydrating agent, and is widely used in papermaking, dyeing, rubber, plastics, ceramics, oil refining, petrochemical industries, and the removal of sulfate ions from brine in the chlor-alkali industry.
