Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grades and markings, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, markings, and quality certificates for ship and marine engineering structural steel plates used in high-heat input welding. This document applies to ship and marine engineering structural steel plates used in high-heat input welding with a thickness not exceeding 100mm and a heat input not exceeding 750kJ/cm (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates"). Main technical contents: This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grades and markings, order content, dimensions, shapes, weights and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, markings, and quality certificates for ship and marine engineering structural steel plates used in high-heat input welding.
