Scope
This part of DB53/T 293 specifies the technical requirements for pathological testing of laboratory animals. This part is applicable to: (1) quality testing of laboratory animals such as monkeys, pigs, dogs, rabbits, chickens, rats, and guinea pigs produced and bred by laboratory animal production units; (2) detection of pathological changes in laboratory animals during scientific experiments; and (3) detection of pathological changes in laboratory animals during experiments such as food and drug safety evaluations and pharmacodynamic evaluations.
